Countdown is the name of a syndicated TV show. It is a combination of Number Games and Word Games that involve solving anagrams or making a total using just plus, minus, times and divide and a set of 6 smaller numbers. The Scrabble World Champion Mark Nyman is one of the producers of the British version of the show. As the show was holding auditions in a Puzzles type format it was decided to incorporate the event into the Pentamind.
