Lecardo is a word game that does not rely on anagrams but lets players use compound words. The first World chapionships in lecardo are taking place at the MSO. The game was originally designed as teaching aid to develop children's language skills but working out which cards are left in the deck can become critical as in the more familiar Tile Games
