Makoto Suekuni is possibly the strongest Othello player of all-time having become World Champion in 1997 and also winning the 10x10 World Title. Makoto was not the only Othello World Champion to win the MSO title as his French rival Marc Tastet was a polyglottic regular at the MSO.
